One of the students in my drawing class gave me several small bright red eggplants from her garden.
I had never seen red eggplants before and I thought the color was so lovely. I was also curious to
see the inside of the eggplant, so I cut it open and found it was a little more yellow and buttery
looking than a standard Italian eggplant. However, I never did get around to eating them as I was
too busy drawing them.
