I love this painting; it was a total breakthrough, and came together quickly and easily.
It was such a beautiful summer day to be out painting on Cape Cod. I was standing along the road in Truro
on a bridge over a channel in the marsh leading to the beach at Corn Hill. The day was bright but hazy, with
the sun illuminating the grasses and water of the marsh, and softly casting Corn Hill in smoky silhouette.
