This was an incredibly beautiful and warm autumn day in early October. We were in the Province Lands National Park in Provincetown amongst the dunes.
The tide was coming in and there were little fish swimming in the water of the tidal channel at my
feet. I feel that this painting captures that warm and sunny day.
It was such a nice day that Jim convinced me to also do a pastel drawing,
Province Lands No. 3.
