Drawing

Drawing has been a life-long habit for James Mundie. While he is known for intricate cross-hatching and stippling with pen and ink, Mundie also enjoys sketching in looser styles with charcoal and ink washes. Drawings from observation and imagination in his sketchbook are often transferred directly onto blocks for his woodcut or linocut prints.
