Printmaking

James Mundie studied printmaking at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, where he developed a special affinity for relief and intaglio mediums. Most recently, James has focused on woodcut and linocut — which he prints by hand without a press. His studio in Deer Isle, Maine, is equipped with an etching press, so when staying there Mundie has been producing monotypes and intends to return to etching.
