I find self-portraiture to be a useful exercise. Knowing one's own features is helpful in describing those of others,
so I will periodically sit down before the mirror and draw what is to be seen (if nothing else, I'm an
inexpensive model). However, as is often the case, close scrutiny imparts a sort of intense glare to
one's features. People often have remarked that I look angry in this print, but that's really just a look of concentration, not perturbation.
